And The Mountains Echoed

They say, Find a purpose in your life and live it. But, sometimes, it is only after you have lived that you recognize your life had a purpose, and likely one you never had in mind.

–Khaled Hosseni

Hosseni’s second novel didn’t quite catch on with me the way I hoped it would. I still admire his writing and book three set everything straight.

I was so impressed by the interplay of each of the characters loves in this book with a storyline that stretches from the fifties to 2010 and several generations.
